Comic Market 86: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 38 & 39

Choose μ's to snooze and for lewd cruise views

After breaking through the KanColle flotilla at Sankuri 64 with the Love Live! erotic parody doujin CL-orz 37, it looks like Clesta will continue their idolization of the girls of Otonokizaka Academy at Comic Market 86.  Nozomi Toujou becomes the latest candidate for dakimakurization by Dr. Cle, getting a Rubenesque treatment not dissimilar to the way he depicted Atago back at Comic1 earlier this year.

Updated 1:35 pm 8/3:  Clesta's pushed all his ceramic betting discs onto the Love Live! space for Comiket 86.  Having already featured Nozomi, Maki, and Nico on the cover of CL-orz 37, it looks like the rest of the μ's girls will be put into Cle Masahiro's service.  Preview pictures shared by the artist on Twitter suggest a pair of new books from the circle, with the remaining six of the nine getting their due.

Cle also indicated via Tweet that event attendees would have access to a bonus item featuring some of the mothers of Otonokizaka's finest!

Update 2 10:23 am 8/10:  As previously suggested, there are indeed two new Love Live! parody books from Clesta coming to Tokyo Big Sight at C86.  Following up Nico, Nozomi, and Maki's lingerie-clad effort on CL-orz 37, Kotori Minami, Honoka, and Umi Sonoda take the cover of CL-orz 38, while Rin Hoshizora, Hanayo Koizumi, and Eli Ayase claim CL-orz 39 in beach wear more appropriate for the sweltering climes of Odaiba.

Cle also revealed the Love Live! moms's role in the proceedings, as they appear in the convention-exclusive CL-ev 12.

Sunshine Creation 64: Clesta / Cle Masahiro

Aμ'sing to no end

In the past several weeks, Clesta's Cle Masahiro has taunted his fans with sharply finished images of girls from Love Live! School Idol Project via his Twitter feed.  Having never touched the series before, it was not too difficult to imagine the girls of Otonokizaka Academy in the middle of a CL-orz erotic parody.  Finally, Masahiro confirmed the cover-image-in-process, likely to be done for Sankuri 64 later this month.

Updated 7:24 am 6/21:  No significant changes on the finalized cover of CL-orz 37, revealed by Clesta earlier this week in preparation for Sankuri 64.

Additionally, attendees will have access to the circle's latest omake book, featuring Love Live! rival raconteur Tsubasa Kira on the cover.

Sunshine Creation 63: Clesta / Cle Masahiro

Nagato does not skip core day

Clesta's Twitter account is a remarkably reliable source of scorching hot new images of the kanmusu, and his take on the Kantai Collection fleet is particularly notable for the raw athleticism he imparts upon the girls' bodies, depicting them as lithe, muscular, sinewy, and powerful.  Such is the case with Nagato on the cover of this omake book available just for this show.

COMIC1☆8: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 35 & 36

Bombs away

Between regular book releases, character goods, and random high-quality image releases via TwitterClesta's Cle Masahiro is reliably one of the more prolific doujin-ka in the game, and the S-Level circle will bring its A-game to late April's COMIC1☆8.  Originally previewed at February's Sunshine Creation 62, the circle is ready to publish its latest Kan Colle erotic parody book, CL-orz 35, starring the stockinged ship-shape starlet Suzuya.  This is the circle's third consecutive Kan Colle parody release, following Nagato's debut on CL-orz 33, and Atago's on CL-orz 34.

In recent weeks, Clesta's Cle Masahiro has teased fans with brand-spanking-new images of Kantai Collection fleetmates AtagoNagatoMusashi, and Tenryuu, as well as Sailor scout Venus on his Twitter feed.  Of these, only the Atago image was unfinished.  What was last shall be first, so they say, and so it shall be with this life-sized tapestry of the buxom blonde bombsheller to be sold at COMIC1☆8.

Updated 7:48 pm 4/26:  Clesta's work output rate truly is class of the field, as the circle has revealed not one but two additional publications for sale at COMIC1☆8.  Atago makes her second appearance on a Clesta cover on CL-orz 36, looking decidedly more engaged than she was on the cover of the circle's 34th volume.

In addition, the Kancolle fun continues with Kaga on the cover of an omake book that just might have been named by the artist's cat walking across the keyboard.

Sunshine Creation 62: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 35 Preview

Crinolined cruiser not ready to enter the fray

One week ago, Cle Masahiro shared an in-progress image of Kantai Collection's Suzuya very much in his modus operandi to suggest the delightfully ruffly cruiser would take the cover of Clesta's next erotic parody doujin.  While the suspicion held water, it seems that the vessel is not prepared to take to the high seas, as the artist revealed today that their Sankuri 62 contribution would be merely an eight-page preview of the full-fledged book, expected to be completed and sold via consignment shops later this month.

Raigeki-sen Yoi! 6: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 34

Heavy Big-boned cruiser

Count Clesta among the circles straying from the tried-and-true doujin path, skipping Comic Treasure 23 at INTEX Osaka this weekend for a return to the island of Odaiba in Tokyo Bay for the all-kanmusu Raigeki-sen Yoi! 6.  Having featured Haruna and Nagato on covers at last year's Comic Markets, Cle Masahiro has called upon a spectacular and robust Atago, one of the first kanmusu to capture the otaku population's obsession, for the cover of CL-orz 34.

Comic Market 85: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 33

Masahiro's Kantai Collection goods seek to liberate yen at C85

Add Clesta's Cle Masahiro to the roster of doujin-ka seeking to cash in on the naval naifs of Kantai Collection at Comic Market 85 in December.  While book plans are still forthcoming, Masahiro's Twitter feed has included a slew of fleet members in varied and compromised states, including a calendar and a delectable depiction of the battleship Nagato in dakimakura form to be offered for sale.

Update 1, 11:02 am 12/24/13:  Not content to merely dakimakurize the dreadnought, Cle Masahiro revealed today that Nagato will be the star of the circle's ero parody doujin offering, CL-orz 33.

Sunshine Creation 61: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 32

Nisekoi's leading lady not to be disrespected at Sankuri 61

After taking the back seat to her friend and bodyguard Tsugumi Seishirou on the cover of Clesta's previous offering one month ago, Nisekoi's female lead Chitoge Kirisaki finds herself in the pole position on the cover of CL-orz 32 to be released this weekend at Sunshine Creation 61.  Note the ever-so-slight and ever-so-delightful yaeba on the full-size high-res version!

Comic Treasure 22: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 31

Nisekoi's Black Tiger brazen biscuit-buffer at Komitore 22

After yet another successful Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere ero doujin release at Comic Market 84, Cle Masahiro's Clesta revealed the circle's intentions for this weekend's Comic Treasure 22 at INTEX Osaka.  Leaving the sci-fi setting for the moment, the circle parodies the high-school yakuza hi-jinks of Nisekoi with CL-orz 31, a 16-page effort featuring the Shonen Jump manga series' female assassin Seishirou Tsugumi taking care of business on the cover.

Comic Market 84: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 30

Warship worship and a Horizon superfecta from Clesta at C84

Though the circle did stray to other series with a two-book dalliance of CL-orz 26 and 27, Cle Masahiro's Clesta continues to reaffirm its devotion Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, which has been practically uninterrupted since Sankuri 53 in October 2011, at Comiket 84. As always, Clesta's artistry is ravishing, with a remarkably drawn slate of goods for fans to enjoy.  The circle's erotic doujin, CL-orz 30, pairs Tomo Asama and Neito on the cover--this makes Tomo's third cover appearance, and the second for Neito.

Additionally, Asama will be tasked with preventing carpal tunnel syndrome this August, with a 3D wrist health mousepad for purchase:

Horizon's Kimi Aoi, herself already an oft-featured cover girl on Clesta's doujins, receives the dakimakura treatment this time out:

In fact, Aoi will be pulling double duty at the convention; in addition to the new ero doujin, mouse pad, and dakimakura, Clesta will have a soushuuhen harkening back to the start of Clesta's obsession with Horizon for sale at C84.  This particular collection compiles CL-orz 19, 20, 21, 23, and 24 (skipping over the Papakiki! parody CL-orz 22).

It seems that, like so many of his doujinshi brethren, Clesta likes to wind down by waging war with the kawaii Kantai Collection girls, and has put Haruna on the cover of the circle's omake book, CL-ev 11, an eight-page A4 release.

Sunshine Creation 60: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 29

Wherein we complete the Kübler-Ross model

Cle Masahiro's Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere (Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon) penchant is no longer just a thing, but a way of life.  It is what it is.  There will be another doujinshi convention, and there will be another Horizon parody from Clesta.  Time to embrace it, and the good news is that Masahiro's art is still top-notch.  CL-orz 29 streets this weekend at Sunshine Creation 60 with miko archer Tomo Asama given the cover this time around.

Comic1☆7 part 2: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 28

No oasis on the Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere

You can't deny love, and it can certainly be said that Cle Masahiro of Clesta loves him some Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere.  In addition to the previously announced tapestry, after a two-book betrayal, Clesta has returned to the halls of Musashi Ariadust Academy with Kimi Aoi regaining the cover of CL-orz 28, released today at Comic1☆7.  This now makes eight of the circle's past 11 ero doujin releases parodying Horizon.

Comic1☆7: Clesta / Cle Masahiro

No hope on the horizon...

No doujin news from Clesta yet, and it's been quite a long time since the circle has published a new book compared to their previous production rate.  The circle does show a flicker of life, however, at this weekend's Comic1☆7.  It is a tapestry of, naturally, Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, the circle's latest and greatest obsession.  We can still hope that a full-length book from a different series is still in the cooker, somewhere...

Sunshine Creation 58: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 27

More podiatric punishment in store for Clesta fans?

After making a preview appearance at last month's Comic Treasure 21, Cle Masahiro's take on Magi's Morgiana gets the full CL-orz 27 treatment with this book, released today at Sunshine Creation 58.

Comic Treasure 21 Reveals, or Life After Comiket

Clesta, Digital Lover not content to rest on their laurels

Beyond the biannual Comic Markets at Tokyo Big Sight, many doujinshi events occur across Japan throughout the year, not just to service those not able to attend those most venerated events, but also to debut new works.  The first non-Comiket doujin event of the season, Comic Treasure 21, takes place this weekend at INTEX Osaka, and at least a couple of top-flight circles will have new pieces for sale alongside their Comiket 83 releases.

Clesta will rest the CL-orz title with this Morgiana-centered Magi parody book:

Allowing himself to be out done this one time, the Doujinshi James Brown, Digital Lover has a new Rough Sketch omake book featuring a tipsy, kimono-clad Asuna Yuuki gracing the cover:

Comic Market 83: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 26

Perhaps ready to move forward by going back to an old friend?

After a nearly endless string of Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere parody doujinshi, Cle Masahiro looks to return back to some old stomping grounds with the release of CL-orz 26 at Comic Market 83.  Asuka Shikinami Langley gets the covergirl treatment, and there may be a dakimakura in the works to commemorate the occasion as well.  This makes the fifth Rebuild of Evangelion doujin from the artist, the last one being December 2010's CL-orz 13, and the second time Asuka has been featured on the cover alone.

Hail to the New Clesta Doujin, Same As the Old Clesta Doujin

Circle's Niigata Comic Market offering somehow familiar...

Previewed back in late October on his website, doujin artist Cle Masahiro has unleashed his latest Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere parody with last weekend's debut of CL-orz 25 at Gattaketto.  This makes three Horizon parodies in a row and six of the last seven published by the circle.  While Clesta has done multiple parodies of the same series previously, they have no previous history of such singular fixation.

The book is up for sale now at Toranoana.

Comic Market 82: Clesta / Cle Masahiro / CL-orz 24

Clesta continues driving the CL-orz doujin series by going in what can only be called an off-the-board direction, featuring Margot Knight from the generally unloved 2011 anime Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere.

Image from Akibadaisuki.jp
Five of the last six CL-orz books have been parodies of Horizon, the lone exception being the Papakiki-centric CL-orz 22 released in April 2012 for COMIC1☆6--prior to these books, Clesta had not presented more than two books parodying the same series, and I'd like to see the circle start going in different directions in the near future.

I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed that they didn't do a larger book based off the character created for the infamous carpal tunnel-relieving "thinkopad" unleashed on the streets of Akihabara earlier this year.

Images from doujinshi.mugimugi.com:

The circle released an eight-page doujin featuring this rather curious usagimimi'd young man earlier this year, but nothing more since.
