Comic Market 86: Mugenkidou A 無限軌道A / Tomose Shunsaku

Not a boat!  Not an idol!

Mugenkidou A's Tomose Shunsaku has revealed the circle's plan for Comic Market 86, and, defying all odds, it involves neither moe moe war machines nor earnest high school idols.  The group is going all-in on an original character creation similar but apparently different from the original character from last summer's Comic Market 84, with erotic book, dakimakura, and tchotchkes alike all festooned with the young lady struggling mightily with her triangles of cloth.

COMIC1☆8: Mugenkidou A / Tomose Shunsaku

Signs of life from Camp Shunsaku--Mugenkidou A teamed up with ANAPOM at COMIC1☆8 to deliver a short omake booklet and a tapestry of this original character creation.

Comic Market 85: Mugenkidou A / 無限軌道 A / Tomose Shunsaku

Sexpot shrine maiden ships on parade

If Shimakaze introduced otakudom to Kantai Collection at Comic Market 84, then the Kongou sisters have kicked down otakudom's door, thrown all their stuff out the window, and claimed squatter's rights in preparation for C85.  It seems to me like some iteration of members of the quartet occupy more than half the doujinshi being sold at Tokyo Big Sight on the 31st--not just Kan Colle parodies, mind you, but ALL doujin.  Add Tomose Shunsaku to the list of those whose head space has been occupied by the girls, as Kongou and Haruna appear on the cover of Mugenkidou A's C85 offering.

Toranoana Comiket Sales Banzuke a Summit of Titans

D.L. domination as the smoke clears from the Tiger Hole

With the closing of Comic Market 84, certainly the hottest Comiket on record temperature-wise if not content-wise, Toranoana Akihabara, that de facto retail mecca of doujin pilgrims, has finally posted their ranking banzuke of the top-selling doujinshi to debut at the event, and what it lacks in surprises it more than makes up in impeccable erotic craftsmanship.  With special thanks to Akiba Blog for providing the knowledge and the images, let's check the banzuke!

 2)  Recollect2 (original) by T2 ART WORKS / Tony Taka

Comic1☆7: Mugenkidou A / 無限軌道 A / Tomose Shunsaku

Neighbors, imoutos, cousins, monsters, and space rangers all under Shunsaku's roof this weekend

Tomose Shunsaku's Mugenkidou A has decided to tap into the reserves for this weekend's Comic1☆7, with the circle's second soushuuhen, their previous one coming at Comic1☆4 in April 2010.  The release collects Shunsaku's two Haganai books from 2011, December 2010's OreImo parody, 2011's Infinite Stratos parody, and more, but curiously does not collect either of the circle's 2012 SAO parody doujin.

Comic Market 83: Mugenkidou A / 無限軌道 A / Tomose Shunsaku

SAO manages to hold Shunsaku's wandering eye at C83

Mugenkidou A managed to stay atop the Toranoana Top Ten for several weeks following August 2012's Comic Market 82 with their Asuna Yuuki-centered Sword Art Online parody Asuna to Online.  For C83, circle helmsman Tomose Shunsaku stays with the series, but swaps out his leading lady for cousin-as-imouto Suguha Kirigaya and her avatar, Lyfa, from the ALfheim Online storyline.  The circle's previous book kept the story inside the virtual world of Sword Art Online, so it remains to be seen if it'll be Lyfa or Suguha who ends up doing the heavy lifting...

Comic Market 82: Mugenkidou A / 無限軌道 A / Tomose Shunsaku

More Sword Art Online?  More Sword Art Online.  Circle Mugenkidou A caught my attention with their Haganai releases from the Summer and Winter Comikets of 2011 and their character designs, which have a Happoubi Jin-esque heaviness in the eyes, and it looks like they've jumped on the SAO gravy train with their C82 release, Asuna to Online:

Thanks to Akibadaisuki.jp for the image
I have every intention of going backwards in Mugenkidou's backlog of books and will be going forward with them as well, if they continue to produce art of this erotic calibre.
