Heeeeeeeeeere's Ishi!

There's been a cold, dark, empty spot in the halls of Tokyo Big Sight since December 2012's Comic Market 83, a spot usually filled with warmth, soft naked flesh, considerable moisture, fun, and undeniable eroticism.  If you wait just a moment to observe, though, you'll notice the temperature rising...  

That last appearance by NiseMIDIdoronokai, the circle had naught but a soushuuhen and a textless eight-page gravure release of iM@S's Rika Jougasaki to show for itself.  While circle artist Ishikei has been extremely busy in the passing months, lending his considerable talents to the monthly Comic X-Eros hentai magazine, fans had been left wanting for a new example of the staggeringly erotic parody talent that made the man one of the most favored sons of the Doujin Kingdom.  Finally, back on July 9, Ishikei made a rare apeparance on Twitter to reveal a new picture of To Love-Ru's Mikan Yuuki and simultaneously confirm that he's still got his fastball.

The release of MikanAX is NiseMIDIdoronokai's fourth To Love-Ru doujinshi, the last one being December 2011's HakuDark.  Mikan was last featured in MikanAL back at Comic Market 76 in August 2009.

Comikastoffable!

Generally speaking, up until now Wing's greatest contributions to the figure collecting milieu have been of the Super Sonico variety, but they caught my attention at the latest Wonder Festival with their revelation of a maquette of Ishikei's Comic Market 77 catalog cover girl.  While the artist has been missing from the doujinshi scene for quite some time, he's been all over the pages of Comic X-Eros lately, so we can't exactly accuse him of resting on his dirty, filthy laurels.  However, fans were recently treated to an image on his Twitter account, showing the front side of that same Comiket staffer, looking as though she's had enough of the Odaiba heat.  With this, a confirmation from Wing that, to accommodate the separate poses, Ishikei's Comiket girl will come with alternate torsos to be displayed clothed or unclothed.

Chalk this up as one of the times that reaffirm how much easier this would be if I knew Japanese:  after incessant refreshing of NiseMIDIDoronokai's website throughout the 29th, 30th, and 31st, and no update to be found, I remembered Ishikei tweeting once or twice in the previous week.  Naturally, sitting there in plain Japanese, was an announcement that, due to physical ailment, the circle would not have a presence at Tokyo Big Sight, and that he hoped to release a new ero doujin early in 2014.  Ishikei skipped C84, presumably due to a heightened workload in connection with the release of his Comic X-Eros tankoubon, TiTiKEi, and C83’s offering was a soushuuhen, so one has to look back to Atari, the circle’s Accel World parody from C82, for their latest totally fresh doujin effort.  When the Gonzo God's latest efforts bear digestible fruit, we'll have it here.

Subtlety, nuance need not apply

Gonzo God Ishikei, of perennial best-selling ero doujin circle Nise MIDI Doronokai, has been featured as the centerpiece artist acquisition of Wani Magazine's newish hentai comic anthology, Comic X-Eros.  Now on its eighth issue, the magazine has offered Ishikei's fans a steady stream of new content beyond his bi-annual Comiket releases.  As featured in Akiba Blog recently, Ishikei fans looking to separate their wheat from the chaff have a new tankoubon at their disposal, Ishikei's first, suavely titled TiTiKEi.  The B5-sized book looks to be 250 pages, comprised of 24 chapters including Ishikei's Comic X-Eros works plus some older materials.  Figure collectors may recognize the blonde debutante on the cover as Chie, rendered in 3D by none other than master ero figure producers Native back in late 2010.  There are two variant cover art options available to consumers, and it appears there will be a significant number of omake items included with the book depending on where one buys it from.

Gonzo God looks back at fluid-dripping, wild-eyed, gaping body of work for C83

After complete radio silence following August's Comic Market 82, we finally have a reveal from Ishikei's NiseMIDIdoronokai regarding the circle's Comiket 83 offering.  It looks to be a soushuuhen capturing the past three years of work, which would include the To Love-Ru parodies MikanAL, Oshiri To, Yummy!! and Hakudark, Angel Beats parody Naorimashita, Infinite Stratos parodies Konna no de Suimasen!!! and ORIMUland, and this August's Accel World parody Atari.

Also like the last time he issued a soushuuhen, it looks like there will be a short omake companion piece to go along with the collection, this one featuring iDOLM@STER's Rika Jougasaki.

Gonzo doujin extraordinaire Ishikei has updated his website today with a cover shot of his circle NiseMIDIdoronokai's release for Comic Market 82:

I hate having to admit I don't know what anime series this is a parody of, but that won't stop me from purchasing this.  I will update once I have half a clue!
